Norman Weber
Some records start with a carefully planned studio session. This one started with a handful of people at Pikes refusing to accept that the party was over. Back in October 2021, Norman Weber was playing the closing set outside at Pikes Ibiza; when the music stopped, the remaining dancers responded in the only reasonable way — singing and shouting "What the fuck is this?" Norman recorded them on his phone and started the track the same day. Four years later he met Justin Harris at an MFF party at Pikes, and the record found its natural home. The original is tough, unapologetic Berlin house with obvious Chicago credentials, backed by heavyweight remixes from Damianism (Damien Vandesande of dOP) and Defex & Tsodor.
